Ripple has launched a dedicated institutional minting platform for its RLUSD stablecoin, while also integrating the token into Notabene’s compliance network. These two developments come as RLUSD holder growth continues to rise, signaling increased adoption among institutional users.
The institutional minting platform allows qualified entities to mint and redeem RLUSD directly, streamlining access for large-scale users. Meanwhile, the Notabene integration provides travel rule compliance, a critical requirement for regulated financial institutions handling digital assets.
Monthly Transfer Volume Falls 25% to $10.95 Billion
Despite these positive adoption signals, RLUSD’s monthly transfer volume dropped to $10.95 billion, a 25% decline from previous levels. Notabene serves over 100 virtual asset service providers (VASPs) globally, and RLUSD’s inclusion could accelerate its adoption in compliant corridors. This move also reduces counterparty risk for institutions concerned about regulatory exposure.
