Every cycle the halving narrative gets louder, and every cycle more capital tries to position ahead of the supply cut. Here’s the uncomfortable part: the more predictable an event becomes, the less edge there is in trading it. Miners cutting new issuance in half is real supply mechanics, but the reaction is increasingly priced in months early.
That doesn’t mean the halving stops mattering. It means the easy money moved from the event itself to the expectations game around it. When a setup is on every timeline, the payoff shifts to whoever is early, patient, or contrarian, not whoever simply shows up on schedule.
Watch what actually changes on-chain rather than what people tweet. Sustained holder accumulation, coins leaving exchanges, and long-term supply staying dormant tell you more than any countdown clock. Narratives rhyme; flows are what pay.
